As an emerging Smart City, Cauayan seeks to explore the reach of agricultural development by advancing Data Analytics to its communities. Digital Infrastructure and another innovative mechanism may employ best practices to address literacy gaps among farmers and achieve agricultural productivity that will help meet the demands of the consuming communities. The LGU views this Hackathon as a collaborative activity to source ideas and convenes experts as well as workers a unifying tool/mechanism to bring development in areas where the absence of development is widespread. Data Sets gathered will be housed in the SPARTA SGP and remarkable innovations will be given the opportunity to pitch such newly developed knowledge for possible incubation and housing to the LGU.

The following use-case statements are your guide to help you align your intention in addressing areas of this challenge:

a. How can data and technology (D&T) provide more learning opportunities to reinforce agricultural regional organizations; and capacitate individuals with updated farming methods?
b. How can Data Science and Analytics (DSA) establish a more ingenious communication mechanism to disseminate agricultural development, practices, and opportunities to empower community people and uphold regional organization?
c. Achieving smarter communication strategies by transforming data into innovations to disseminate agricultural opportunities easier and faster to the people for community empowerment.
d. How can D&T assist in securing grants from Business Groups and NGOs to farmers who are inclined to use digital/smart technologies?
e. How can DSA attract Businesses and Civil Societies to open funding/grants for a digitalized information dissemination mechanism promoting agriculture development for the people's empowerment to boost economic disposition?
f. Empowering communities through digitalized information dissemination solutions to highlight agricultural strengths and attract businesses for economic opportunities with confidence.
g. How can D&T improve greenhouse technology for farmers’ productivity?
h. How can DSA help disseminate information about the community's climate-resiliency status and identify possible climate-resilient agricultural commodities for sustainable agriculture?
i. Data Science and Analytics as a critical tool in disseminating agricultural best practices to combat climate change and food self-sufficiency.
j. How can D&T help in lobbying and developing agricultural infrastructures and equipment for the LGU?
k. How can DSA assist the LGU in mapping out agricultural areas ideal for sustainable infrastructures and in educating communities to take part in the protection and maintenance of such?

m. How can D&T help increase and manage food production, transportation, distribution, storage, and the attainable control of prices of raw materials from farm gate to market?

o. Transforming data and developing smarter solutions to help communities invest in climate-resilient commodities to achieve rice self-sufficiency.
p. How can D&T make ways to develop an integrated curriculum for agriculture to graduate more agricultural experts?
q. How can DSA innovations encourage youth from communities to engage and enroll in agricultural activities/programs provided that good opportunities await?
r. Introducing basic data analytics solutions for the farmers including the youth to monitor production and factors causing low productivity.
