A healthy community attracts opportunities closer and revitalizes the economy for sustenance. It is with a healthy workforce that business ventures and deliveries are highly possible while meeting the demands of the market. When the workforce is exerting efforts to maintain a dynamic scheme for development, the government needs to ensure that safety and protection are best served.

During the COVID19 pandemic, the province of Isabela where the City of Cauayan is situated was one of the cities that are greatly affected wherein infected cases are significantly prevalent and are posting risks to the lives of the people. While the voluminous entry of data becomes a challenge for the City where results and recommendations are stretching due to the absence of a centralized repository hub and automated mechanisms for data collection. It was a challenge to organize data and address difficulties in profiling local patients and Healthcare providers as an essential move to generate data-driven recommendations to aid heal emergencies. That is why, DAP in partnership with DOST, AAP, ISU, and the City of Cauayan recognizes the significance of Data Analytics in coming up with automated solutions to establish a centralized repository hub and automate data collection. This Hackathon seeks to consolidate ingenious solutions to establish this digital infrastructure and organize data flows until generating reports are favorable for a future project proposal that involves healthcare reforms.

a. How can data and technology help the LGU ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages?
b. How can data analytics provide a solution in mechanizing universal health care access to reduce mortality from non-communicable diseases?
c. Developing a digital solution using data analytics to achieve universal health coverage and reproductive health care services.
d. How can data and technology help the LGU launch high-speed connectivity that aims to attract and encourage BPO industries or other businesses to create jobs for the citizen while promoting investments in tourism in the city?
e. How can data analytics establish a web-based system enabling transaction accessibility so information relative to health and health care providers is available to people?
f. How can data analytics help the LGU abate the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and pollution?
g. How can data be utilized in disseminating information to strengthen the prevention and control of deaths from extreme weather events, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and malnutrition due to climate change?
h. How can data analytics assist the LGU in developing public transport systems, affordability, and efficiency as well as improving urban air quality and health?
i. How can data analytics be a way to integrate mechanisms in the proper disposal of hospital waste?
j. Making use of DSA in improving social equity, health, the resilience of cities, urban-rural linkages, and productivity of rural areas.
k. The ability of data and technology to help LGU establish a community-based food production mechanism for sustainable livelihood.
l. How can data analytics establish a digital platform for educating school-age children on the importance of nutritious foods and having a balanced diet?
m. How can DSA be utilized as an opportunity in promoting a healthy lifestyle among the locals of the City of Cuayan?
