A healthy community attracts opportunities closer and revitalizes the economy for sustenance. It is with a healthy workforce that business ventures and deliveries are highly possible while meeting the demands of the market. When the workforce is exerting efforts to maintain a dynamic scheme for development, the government needs to ensure that safety and protection are best served.
During the COVID19 pandemic, the province of Isabela where the City of Cauayan is situated was one of the cities that are greatly affected wherein infected cases are significantly prevalent and are posting risks to the lives of the people. While the voluminous entry of data becomes a challenge for the City where results and recommendations are stretching due to the absence of a centralized repository hub and automated mechanisms for data collection. It was a challenge to organize data and address difficulties in profiling local patients and Healthcare providers as an essential move to generate data-driven recommendations to aid heal emergencies. That is why, DAP in partnership with DOST, AAP, ISU, and the City of Cauayan recognizes the significance of having clean and reliable data in coming up with automated solutions to establish a centralized repository hub and automate data collection. This Open Data Challenge seeks to gather and consolidate these datasets that would support ingenious solutions for report generation and data collection for healthcare reforms.
